LONDON (MITCHAM) GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Mitcham area of London once had a greyhound track built around the perimeter of the local Streatham and Mitcham Rugby Union Club and situated at 0° 9' W 51° 24' N. The track opened in 1936 but was not as popular as some of its more illustrious London neighbours and ceased racing within a year of opening.

The ground on which the former track once stood is now covered by housing and gardens.
